mini HOW-TO:
This page demostrates the phase to of dom-sensus proj.
You will find two areas below. On the left is a a svg based graph tool and the right, a frame showing a web page.
Now the user can make annotation about the page he is reading. just as we note on the margin with adobe PDF.
The notes can be orginized into a graph.
And the graphes with the annotated pages will be used for commuitiy construction and domain sensus negotiation.
- Graph
- To creat a node: 1) click the "AddNode" button, 2) click inside the canvas, then get a new node
- To add lines between nodes : 1) click the "addLine" button, 2)click the 1st node, 3) click the 2nd node
- To drag nodes: 1)click the "move" button 2) drag any node on the canvas
- To delete node/line: 1) click the "edit" button, 2)click on the node/line you want to delete
- To change the node/line name 1)click the "edit" button, 2) click on the name u want to changed 3)input the new name in the promoted dialog.
- notes: u just click the button for status change, that means. e.g. after changed in to the edit status, u can edit as many node as u like without click on the button repeately.
- Annotation
- to make annotation:
- select the words you want to annotated from the web pages in the right frame.
- be sure the status of the svg graph tool is in "addNode" (by click on the "addNode" button).
- click on the svg graph canvas, a new node will be added. the annotated node is recorded at the same time.
- to check the annotation:
- change the state of graph tool into "edit" (by clicke the "edit" button), click on the node you want to check. when a node is selected, the annotated text will be select in the rightside page.
